The Company:

Our client is one of the UK’s longest-established providers of fall protection and height safety systems, delivering specialist installation and inspection services to clients across construction, retail, healthcare, education, food & beverage, and more. As part of a wider group and following sustained growth, they are now seeking a Lead Safety Technician to join their site installation team.

Whether you have prior experience in fall protection or come from a general technical inspections or site-based background, full training is provided, including the opportunity to work toward an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Safety Systems Installation.

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Safety Technician you will install and commission fall protection products at customer sites across the UK
Carry out repairs, modifications, and recertifications of systems
Liaise with site contacts and clients, maintaining a professional, service-led approach
Complete inspection reports and plans identifying system compliance
Support training of client teams on installed systems
Assist with PPE inspections and identify on-site sales opportunities where appropriate
Communicate with the contracts team during ongoing worksRequirements:

Experience in site-based installation, technical inspections, or safety systems (preferred but not essential)
Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Good communication skills and a personable, professional manner
Basic computer literacy and ability to complete site records accurately
Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight as required
