Senior Quantity Surveyor – Utilities
Location: Remote (with travel to client sites/offices within the South East 4-5 times per month)
Salary & Package: £65,000 – £80,000 + car/travel allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days leave + bank holidays
I'm working with a leading energy and infrastructure business delivering large-scale programmes across the UK. Backed by significant investment and with a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The Senior Quantity Surveyor's first project will be focused around the roll out of a high volume/low value upgrade programme for a major utilities provider in the South East.

The successful candidate will take commercial responsibility for a newly awarded long-term utilities framework, ensuring effective cost control, risk management, and contract administration. You'll be client-facing, working closely with both stakeholders and internal delivery teams to ensure commercial performance and value for money.
Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyors key responsibilities will include:
Full commercial and cost management of a multi-year utilities programme.
Administration of NEC contracts.
Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and management.
Forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
Working collaboratively with clients and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Acting as the 'go to' person for all commercial and contractual matters across the business (NEC)About You
Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in utilities, infrastructure, or energy projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
Skilled in cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
Confident working in a client-facing role.
