This is a multidisciplinary organisation which provides a wide range of services, including project management, quantity surveying and architectural services. Their main clients consist of local Authorities and Housing Associations across the East of England.

Your new role
Most of your projects will be based around social housing and RP’s with fantastic relationships across East Anglia, with longstanding, established relationships while continuing to win new work and join new frameworks. You will be joining at a busy time and will have the opportunity to be involved with a range of projects including new build and refurbishments, starting from simple to complex with a mixture of private as well with the values ranging from £250k to £16 million+.
You will be expected to take responsibility for multiple projects from inception through to completion. You’ll have duties that will cover pre- and post-contract and client facing. Further responsibilities include, drafting contracts, issuing and pricing variations, producing final accounts, producing Sectional Analysis schedules and phasing plans, compiling tender documentation and carrying out feasibility studies and reports.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a quantity surveyor with experience of running their own projects and looking to join a practice where they can work in full autonomy with opportunities for progression. You’ll need to be degree qualified and MRICs accreditation is ideal but necessary.
You’ll need to have good communication skills, be confident in dealing with clients and contractors. Knowledge of JCT Traditional, Design & Build, Intermediate and Minor Works Contracts is desirable. You’ll be working as part of a small multi-disciplinary team and therefore it is important you have the ability to work well in a team environment but also enjoy working independently.
You’ll need to have good attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure and organised to proficiently manage a workload. There is support and training in place to develop the right candidate, so it’s important to have a positive attitude towards learning and development.
What you’ll get in return
The salary for this role is £40,000- £50,000 dependent on experience. The benefits of this role include:
