Marketing Assistant – Residential Developer

Hill McGlynn is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-respected residential housing developer based in Sittingbourne. We are seeking a creative, driven, and digitally savvy Marketing Assistant to join their team and play a key role in elevating the company’s brand and communications.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term marketing career in the property and construction sector, with real scope to grow alongside a thriving regional business.

The Role:

Working directly from the client’s office in Sittingbourne, you will support the business in all areas of marketing and communications, with a particular focus on digital content creation, brand engagement, and community outreach. You’ll be the go-to person for managing the company’s online presence, developing a content library, creating brochures, and helping to bring the brand to life both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead on social media strategy and content creation across platforms

* Build and manage a library of marketing content (photos, videos, case studies, testimonials)

* Support and maintain the company’s website (no coding required)

* Create professional project brochures, marketing materials, and digital assets

* Help build brand awareness in the local community and housing market

* Coordinate and promote community engagement activities – e.g. partnerships with charities, engagement with subcontractors, residents, and local buyers

* Liaise with sales and project teams to ensure marketing aligns with business goals

* Track campaign performance and suggest improvements

About You:

* Strong experience in social media management and content creation is essential

* Confident using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar for marketing collateral

* Comfortable updating and managing websites (via platforms like WordPress, Wix, etc.)

* Creative, enthusiastic, and able to work independently

* Background in construction or property marketing is a major advantage

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ambitious and keen to develop your marketing career with a growing business
