Health & Safety Advisor – West Midlands

360 Recruitment are currently assisting a specialist contractor in their search for a Health & Safety Advisor based out of their West Midlands office.

This opportunity is working on demolition schemes up to £20million+ in value.

You will be supporting the Health & Safety Manager, taking ownership of site safety across a range of exciting projects nationwide.  

Job role: Health & Safety Advisor

Location: West Midlands (with travel to sites nationwide)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (dependant on years of experience, skills & qualifications) + package

Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities:

Notifying Health & Safety Manager of all incidents in accordance with company procedures.
Producing health & safety risk assessments for site staff, ensuring that safe working methods are adhered to.
Conducting health & safety site audits and inspections.
Monitor on-site health and safety practices and provide recommendations to the Site Manager to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement safety and quality control plans.
Ensure that all projects are undertaken and completed with Health & Safety as the utmost priority.
Requirements:

Valid First Aid and Black CSCS/CCDO card.
Experience within the demolition or construction industry.
NVQ L6 in Occupational Health & Safety / NEBOSH Diploma.
