You will be working with a Chartered Building Company and Principal Contractor, specialising in high quality refurbishment projects across London and the South East. Their expertise is focused entirely on repairs, remodelling, and fit-outs, internally and externally.
They have more than 20 years’ experience delivering highly successful work across the residential, education, commercial, and heritage sectors.
Your new role
An Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) supports the Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing and monitoring all costs related to construction projects. The AQS helps ensure that projects are completed within budget, comply with specifications, and achieve value for money, while maintaining high-quality standards.

4. Measurement & Valuations
5. Reporting & Documentation
6. Collaboration & Coordination
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or working towards one).
- Previous work experience or internship in a similar role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
