About the Role
We are working with an established, award-winning national house builder who are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a flagship residential development in Abingdon. As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of a multi-unit development, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing the site team, subcontractors, and trades on a daily basis.
*
Maintain and promote high standards of health & safety across the site.
*
Monitor progress against the build programme and report to the Site Manager.
*
Carry out quality inspections, ensuring work is completed to NHBC and company standards.
*
Support with managing material deliveries and ensuring cost efficiency.
*
Work closely with internal departments, inspectors, and clients to achieve timely handovers.
About You
*
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
*
Strong knowledge of traditional build methods and NHBC requirements.
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*
Committed to delivering high standards of health & safety and build quality.
*
SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (preferred).
