Our client, a well-established and respected commercial fit-out contractor in Central London, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in pricing and securing high-profile Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects across the capital, with values typically ranging from £500k to £10m.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial fit-out projects

*

Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive take-offs

*

Engage with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers during the tender process

*

Identify value engineering opportunities and assess commercial risk

*

Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required

*

Work collaboratively with the pre-construction and delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover

*

Stay up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and construction techniques

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within the commercial fit-out or interiors sector

*

Strong knowledge of Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects in London or similar urban environments

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

*

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Bluebeam, Excel)

*

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

*

Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and deadline-driven
