Technical Services Manager – London Area – 75k + Benefits
We're looking for a Technical Services Manager to join a fit-out main contractor in the London area working on commercial, industrial, life sciences, and education construction projects. This role combines design input with oversight of delivery from early stages through to completion.
You'll be involved from design through to installation, supporting teams, reviewing submissions, and ensuring compliance across multiple schemes. The position requires someone confident both at the design table and on site, able to bridge technical detail with practical delivery.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting production of designs and specifications at early stages
Managing technical elements across multiple live projects
Reviewing and approving subcontractor designs, tenders, and technical submissions
Chairing meetings and monitoring on-site progress
Advising pre-construction and design teams on risks, compliance, and cost
Overseeing commissioning programmes and sign-off
What we're looking for:
Proven Construction Technical Services Manager experience
Strong knowledge of MEP systems
Background in managing works through design and installation phases
Experience working for a fit-out contractor ideally on commercial Cat A/B fit out projects
Relevant engineering or technical qualifications
Confident working with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
