Location: Maidstone. Kent

Salary: £26-30,000 DOE

A leading planning and development consultancy is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its dynamic drawing team in the Kent studio. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for delivering high-quality drawings and design packages across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. Candidates with UK-based industry experience, including Architectural Assistants or Architectural Technologists, will be considered.

Daily Duties

Produce detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D models to support planning and design applications
Assist with design development across all project stages
Coordinate with clients and other consultants to ensure accurate and timely delivery
Attend client meetings, site visits, and Council meetings as required
Contribute to project briefs and help develop innovative design solutions
Support the team in preparing high-quality planning application packs

Ideal Candidate

Part 2 Architectural Assistant qualification
Substantial UK-based industry experience; Part 1's and Architectural Technologists with relevant experience are also welcome to apply
Strong design and technical skills, with attention to detail
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Enthusiasm for architecture and commitment to high-quality output
