Senior Project Manager – Construction

Purpose of the Role
Lead complex commercial construction projects from initial concept through to successful completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

*

Develop and maintain the construction programme in collaboration with the Contracts Manager to meet key milestones.

*

Determine and allocate staff resources, communicating effectively with the project team.

*

Implement the organisation’s safety management system and foster a strong on-site safety culture.

*

Oversee project quality throughout the lifecycle to meet or exceed build expectations.

*

Control project costs, preliminaries, and subcontract packages to stay within budget.

Candidate Profile

*

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

*

Experience in construction, including at least 5 years in a project management role.

*

Background in structural and civil building works; critical-environment experience an advantage.

*

Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling software
