Contracts Manager – Gloucester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a highly respected, award-winning contractor based in the Gloucester area. With a long-standing reputation for delivering quality projects, this company offers stability, progression, and the chance to work on a wide range of schemes.

The Role:
As a Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing multiple General Works projects, typically valued up to £1m. These schemes will include both refurbishment and new build projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and retail sectors.

You will report directly to a Director and be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish

*

Leading site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

*

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

*

Overseeing health & safety compliance across all sites

*

Reporting regularly to the Director on progress and performance

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager with a track record of managing refurbishment and/or new build projects

*

Experience working on projects up to £1m in value

*

Strong organisational and leadership skills

*

Commercially aware with excellent communication abilities

*

Based within commutable distance of Gloucester
