Location: Office-based in Cumbernauld, with travel across Scotland
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year (dependent on experience)

About The Contractor
We are delighted to be working with a leading contractor in the sports construction industry who has been operating for over 20 years.
They specialise in delivering top-quality projects such as synthetic pitches, multi-use games areas (MUGAs), running tracks, and associated civil engineering and construction works.
Our contractor has recently been taken over by a European leader in cutting-edge sports surface solutions including synthetic turf, hybrid turf, athletics tracks, and indoor sports flooring.
The Opportunity
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-profile projects across Scotland, with occasional travel throughout the UK.
Based primarily at the Cumbernauld office, you will also visit sites as needed for pricing works and client meetings.
This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to develop their skillset into management duties and be exposed to areas of estimating. You will be fully supported in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage tenders, estimates, and quotations
Collaborate closely with clients to understand project needs
Source and place subcontractor orders
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures
Conduct monthly valuations and financial reporting
Support the implementation of company strategies as directed by senior management
Identify new business and tender opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
HND/C or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or sports construction
Solid understanding of contract terms and conditions
Experience with the full tendering process
Full UK driving licence required
