I'm working with a well-established national housebuilder to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager for a live site in the heart of Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on a significant project, with over 150 units being delivered across two phases, using timber frame construction.

With phase one well underway and phase two launching shortly, we’re looking for a hands-on leader who can take full ownership of the site, drive progress, and maintain high standards across build quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

🔨 Key Responsibilities:

Full management of day-to-day operations on a live multi-phase residential site.

*

Leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery.

*

Maintaining and progressing a well-structured build programme using timber frame methods.

*

Ensuring compliance with NHBC standards, Health & Safety regs, and company procedures.

*

Monitoring build quality, snagging, and customer handovers.

*

Managing site logistics and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

*

Working closely with commercial, technical, and sales teams to coordinate site needs.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or strong No.1 Site Manager on volume housing schemes.

*

Background in timber frame construction is essential.

*

Experience managing multi-phase developments, ideally 100+ units.

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black card preferred), and First Aid qualified.

*

Strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain control on a fast-paced, live site.

*

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
