Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Newport, South Wales
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k DOE + Training & Benefits
This UK wide company is currently recruiting for an efficient Asbestos Surveyor, who will be qualified with a BOHS P402 (or equivalent) based in South Wales and / or South West. It would be favourable to have BOHS P403 & P404 or equivalent qualifications and accompanying analytical experience. The role will involve working on various client sites collecting samples, talking to clients and completing surveys, in addition to 4 stage clearances and air monitoring. Due to the nature of the contacts, our client can also consider candidates who only undertake surveying duties. Experience / Qualifications:
– Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst
– Qualified with BOHS P402 or S301, or RSPH equivalent
– Beneficial to holt the BOHS P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
– Capable of using IT such as Microsoft Office Package
– Liase with clients professionally
– Robust knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
– Meticulous and hard working attitude
The Role:
– Work on various client sites, including: domestic, commercial and industrial
– Collect samples and store safely
– Write up detailed and accurate reports
– Flexible to travel
– Undertake management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
– Conduct 4 stage clearances
– Personal, background, reassurance, leak and smoke air testing
– Carry out re-inspections
– Meeting set surveying targets
