About the Role:
Our client, a specialist in delivering high-quality M&E projects, is seeking a Document Controller to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role will involve overseeing, managing, and maintaining accurate project documentation to support the smooth delivery of mechanical and electrical works across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, organise, and maintain all project documentation in line with company and industry standards

*

Ensure accurate filing, distribution, and retrieval of documents (drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence)

*

Control and track document versions and revisions, ensuring the most up-to-date information is available to the project team

*

Liaise with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely flow of information

*

Monitor document control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements

*

Prepare and issue reports on document status and progress when required

*

Provide general administrative support to the project team

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Document Controller, ideally within the construction, M&E, or building services sector

*

Strong understanding of document management systems and electronic document control software (e.g., Aconex, 4Projects, Asite, Viewpoint, etc.)

*

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

*

Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise across multiple teams

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
