Senior Project Manager, SPS

£59,798 – £65,786 (plus Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £5,000 per annum)
Fixed term – 18 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen within SPS HQ as we recruit for a Senior Project Manager to join the Estates Team on a fixed term basis for 18 months. The Senior Project Manager will provide project management and contract administration service on high value and/or complex new build, refurbishment and maintenance construction projects and be responsible for the successful delivery of such projects to stated time, cost and quality requirements.
If you have the following, we would like to hear from you:
- Honours Degree or Masters in a construction related discipline. Essential
- Chartered status (or in the process of achieving Chartered status) with full membership of a relevant professional institution. Essential
- Extensive postgraduate relevant experience working on multi-site, multi-buildings, multi-systems and/or on a complex estate with an extensive operational workforce where in either situation business continuity and multiple stakeholder consultation are required.
- Successful project and contract management of complex and/or high value construction projects, utilising relevant forms of contract and project management techniques and processes.
- Extensive experience in developing technical briefs and documentation as well as in undertaking design reviews, audits, offsite inspections, and defect analysis.
