The Assistant Project Manager's role

The successful Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the full project lifecycle from initial concept through to completion. Day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing project documentation, assisting with contract administration, managing stakeholder communication and helping deliver projects on time and to budget.

You will work on a variety of new-build and refurbishment schemes ranging from small-scale local authority works to multi-million-pound developments. The Assistant Project Manager

Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related built environment discipline

1-2 years' experience in a project management or assistant project management role, ideally within a consultancy

Working knowledge of JCT contracts

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach

Ideally working towards or keen to pursue chartership via RICS or similar body
