About the Role

Starfish 9 Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key leadership role on-site, responsible for managing teams, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and labour to ensure efficient workflow.

* Monitor project progress and report on milestones, risks, and issues to senior management.

* Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the construction process.

* Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks.

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, material deliveries, and workforce attendance.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

* Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly and effectively.

* Ensure site is kept clean, organised, and compliant with environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and site management practices.

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

* CSCS card (Black or Gold).

* First Aid at Work certification.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Desirable:

* NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.

* Experience with residential, commercial, or refurbishment projects.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools such as Procore Construction Management Software.
