Mechanical Contract Engineer / Contract Manager – Join a Leading HVAC Engineering Business seeking further mechanical building services support across the M4 corridor, with hubs in Cardiff, Bristol and London.
An established and growing HVAC engineering company is looking for a skilled Mechanical Contract Engineer / Manager to join their team. The business specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and environmental controls, delivering high-quality projects across commercial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Take ownership of mechanical projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative, efficient, and safety-conscious working environment.
* Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, technical advice, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Health & Safety: Ensure all work complies with current regulations and company standards, maintaining a strong focus on safe working practices.
* Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on engineering guidance, resolve technical challenges, and optimise project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience managing mechanical engineering projects, preferably within HVAC, environmental, or building services sectors.
* Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
