Senior Site Manager – New Build/Residential

Location: Walthamstow

Salary up to £80k + £6k car allowance + 20% bonus annually

Project: 6 blocks ranging between 4 to 18 storeys, delivering 600 units

About the Opportunity

We are proud to be partnering with a long-established and highly respected residential developer and main contractor with over 60 years of experience delivering high-quality housing across East London. Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation in construction, they have built a reputation for delivering both affordable and private housing schemes to the highest standards.

Together, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Senior Site Manager to take a leading role on a major new residential development in Walthamstow. This landmark project consists of 6 residential blocks ranging from 4 to 18 storeys, delivering over 600 homes for Simple Life Homes and Newlon Housing Trust.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee daily site operations, managing site teams and subcontractors

* Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard

* Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to resolve issues

* Monitor quality control and health & safety compliance on site

* Report progress to senior management and attend regular client/site meetings

* Manage logistics and site planning in a multi-phase, multi-block environment

* Maintain excellent communication with all project stakeholders

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on medium to large-scale residential schemes

* Strong background in managing RC frame and multi-storey apartment developments

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), First Aid qualified

* Solid knowledge of construction processes, H&S legislation, and NHBC/LABC standards

* Ability to manage complex logistics and programme interfaces
