Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Sector Capital Delivery Framework
Location: Derby
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + car allowance & package

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We're supporting a leading main contractor in the water sector who are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major long-term capital delivery framework.

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of complex, high value projects within the a busy, high value framework. You'll work closely with project teams and senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and robust contract management. Responsibilities include:

Overseeing subcontract management from procurement through to final account.
Preparing valuations, forecasts, and detailed cost reports.
Managing risk and ensuring compliance with NEC contracts.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
Building strong relationships with client representatives and supply chain partners.
Contributing to continuous improvement of commercial processes and procedures.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Senior QS or an established QS ready to step up.
Strong background in the contracting environment, ideally within civil engineering, utilities, or water sector projects.
Good knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial risk management.
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
