Contracts Manager – Mechanical

A well-established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a mechanical bias to join their operations team in London. 

This senior-level role involves overseeing multiple high-value mechanical projects across HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems, with full responsibility for commercial and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full lifecycle of mechanical contracts ranging from £100k to £5m+
Lead commercial forecasting, cost control, and profitability tracking
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure service excellence
Mentor and support project teams to drive performance and accountability
Ensure compliance with health & safety and contractual obligations
Oversee procurement, materials, labour, and subcontractor coordination
Maintain programme schedules and ensure delivery to budget and quality standardsCandidate Profile:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in M&E contracts management within construction
Strong technical background in mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, heating)
Proven track record managing complex, high-value contracts
Experience in fit-out and design & build projects is advantageous
HND or degree in a construction-related discipline
Proficient in Asta Power Project or MS Project
Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel
