An outstanding flooring subcontractor in Bedford has an opportunity for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

They are financially strong, expanding, have an excellent, skilled and friendly team, and are looking for a hard working trainee who is looking to learn and progress in a fast paced environment.

The role – Trainee Quantity Surveyor

This is a full time, office based role with site visits where you will assist with the following:

Procurement
Contract Administration
Payment & Financial Management

You will be working on commercial contracts with values ranging from £50,000 – £1m.

The right person – Trainee Quantity Surveyor

You will be educated to A Level standard and will be looking to progress in a construction role.
Good attention to detail
Be able to work to deadlines in a high pressure environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
The ability to work independently and within a team
Experience in negotiation

Working hours 8.30-5pm
