CDM Manager
We are currently working with an International and well renowned Architectural Practice who are actively seeking a talented CDM Manager to join their expanding team in Canary Wharf, London. The successful CDM Manager will be working on a wide range of large-scale high-rise Commercial & Residential projects that dominate the London skyline. Our client offer a full range of professional services such as Architecture, Planning, Interiors and Urban Design. They are renowned for their Innovative Design and technical expertise, working on a range of extraordinary buildings across London and Internationally.
CDM Manager Job Overview
Assist Project Managers on large scale projects
Lead on CDM compliance as CDM Advisor and Principal Designer representative across a wide range of landmark projects
Drive early engagement with clients and design teams to influence safe and sustainable design solutions
Facilitate design risk management workshops
Produce high-quality statutory documentation
Review and challenge Construction Phase Plans and method statements
Carry out site inspections and audits, providing clear advice to project teams
Attend client and design meetings as the trusted advisor on all health, safety and risk matters
Support and mentor junior colleagues, helping to grow a high-performing CDM and Health & Safety team
CDM Manager Job Requirements
A dynamic individual who is well versed in CDM regulations and able to demonstrate their experience and knowledge working in this field
Experience working on large complex projects
Trained as a CDM coordinator and capable of fulfilling the Principal Designer role on a number of projects, as well as overseeing CDM sub-consultants' work in projects where required
Capable of advising and assisting in preparing strategy and training documents
Able to deliver CDM-related training
Ideally come from an Architectural or Engineering background with an additional Health and Safety qualification
Certified member of the APS
Minimum 3 years' suitable experience
