HSQE Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated, forward thinking HSQE Manager to join a friendly business based in Lincolnshire. This role is site based working Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00 with some travel to client sites.

Role Summary

Overall responsibility for the implementation, monitoring, maintaining, and managing the Health Safety Quality and Environmental management for the Company to ensure we maintain our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accreditations, and fully comply with all relevant industry standards and current legislation. In addition, as HSEQ Manager you will be responsible for managing and auditing the digital software platforms .

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Management

* Promote our pristine Health & Safety culture of “Safety First” in everything you do.

* Promote the wellness of staff and implement policies in line with our Company Handbook and Health and Safety guidelines to create a diverse and positive working environment.

* Lead on all matters of HSQE compliance and notifications with respect to operational compliance.

* Direct and manage all the HSQE activities

Quality Management

* Oversee quality assurance systems and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

* Monitor project activities to identify improvements and drive continuous quality enhancement.

Environmental Management

* Implement and monitor environmental policies to ensure compliance with legislation and sustainability goals.

* Conduct environmental audits and assess risks associated with company operations

Digital Systems Management

* Manage and audit our digital platforms, ensuring effective use across all projects.

* Track, control, and report HSQE processes using these systems.

* Train and support staff in the proper use of the digital platforms.

Reporting & Compliance

* Prepare and present HSQE performance reports for senior management and clients.

* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

* Stay updated with relevant legislation and industry best practices, updating policies as necessary.

Collaboration & Leadership

* Work closely with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure HSQE standards are met.

* Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental awareness across the business

Key Competencies

* Qualifications sufficient to perform the job role (NEBOSH)

* Minimum of 5 years-experience in this type of job role.

* A detailed understanding of current health & safety legislation.

* An ability to create and implement all necessary health & safety governance to ensure compliance with our statutory obligations.

* Experience of computer software.

* A leader with the ability to positively drive a team and address non-conformance and poor performance.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Openness and honesty.

* Ability to work under pressure. • Full driving licence
