Are you an experienced Health & Safety Manager ready to step into a standalone role where you can make a visible impact?
This is your chance to take ownership of health, safety, and environmental standards across a portfolio of prestigious construction projects in London and the Home Counties.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)

Develop and maintain a comprehensive HSE Management System in line with ISO 45001 accreditation.
*
Lead site audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and statutory obligations.
*
Prepare and review RAMS, method statements, and H&S documentation.
*
Champion behavioural safety and foster a culture of accountability through workforce engagement and training.
*
Provide strategic HSE input during pre-construction planning and contractor selection.
*
Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions and continuous improvement.
*
Act as the key point of contact for HSE matters with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
*
Monitor and report KPIs, dashboards, and safety trends to senior leadership.
*
Support environmental compliance on waste management, noise control, and sustainability initiatives.
About You
*
Proven track record in Health & Safety management within construction, ideally high end residential new builds/refurbs
*
Strong knowledge of RAMS, audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
*
Confident, resilient, and able to influence and challenge site teams where required.
*
Highly organised with strong documentation and reporting skills.
*
Experience in high-end residential projects a plus, but not essential.
*
Comfortable operating independently while engaging effectively at all levels.
