Engineering Surveyor

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to support a major large-scale earthworks package in Witham. This is a key role on a high-value infrastructure project with a strong pipeline of work, offering consistent work for a 6-month duration.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out topographical and volumetric surveys across the site

*

Setting out for earthworks, drainage, and other civil elements

*

Managing survey control and ensuring accuracy in data collection

*

Interpreting technical drawings and liaising with site teams

*

Working closely with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors

*

Preparing as-built drawings and ensuring all survey data is properly recorded and processed

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a similar Surveyor role within heavy civil engineering or earthworks

*

Proficient with GPS, Total Station, and relevant surveying equipment/software (e.g. Trimble, Leica, AutoCAD, LSS)

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
