Site Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a new prison project in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background, ideally with experience working for Tier 1 contractors. While prior experience on prison projects is preferred, it is not essential. Key requirements include holding SMSTS, First Aid, and other relevant construction certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day site operations and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team to maintain smooth workflow.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.

Manage site documentation, health and safety compliance, and daily reporting.

*

Act as the main point of contact on-site, liaising with clients and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.

*

SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant H&S certifications.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.

*

Experience with modular construction methods is a plus.
