Job Opportunity: Joinery Working Foreman (3-4 Months Contract)

Location: Morpeth, NE65
Start Date: Pending site clearance (approx. 6 weeks)
Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (35 hours/week paid)
Payment: CIS

About the Role

We are seeking a Working Joinery Foreman to oversee and carry out high-quality joinery installations on a site in Morpeth. This is an initial 3-4 month contract with the potential to transition into long-term (1+ year) employment with a well-established, professional joinery company that has strong industry connections and a reputation for quality bespoke work.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and carry out joinery and bespoke fitting works on site

Coordinate with site teams to ensure high standards and project delivery

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Maintain H&S and site compliance standards

Requirements

SMSTS Certification (essential)

Strong joinery/fitter background (hands-on experience required)

Experience with bespoke joinery items

Basic DBS (required for site clearance – takes ~6 weeks to process)

Own tools and PPE

Ability to manage site tasks and work alongside tradespeople

Must have suitable interim work while awaiting site clearance
