Project Manager
An established and fast-growing company in the property sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Commercial Fit out Manager to take the lead in organising key in-house developments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of impactful projects ranging from the redevelopment of existing buildings, and new builds, to mixed-use schemes. You’ll report directly to the senior leadership team and gain exposure to every stage of property development.

Responsibilities
As the Fitout/refurb Project Manager, you will:
* Oversee construction projects from initial concept to final completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
* Coordinate internal resources, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
* Prepare and manage comprehensive project scopes, objectives, and detailed plans, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to company goals.
* Monitor and track project progress, control expenses, and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
* Regularly report project updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain robust working relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and other external parties.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A proven track record in construction project management, specifically in areas such as fit-out, refurbishment, and building management.
* Experience with new-build steel portal frame structures or similar projects.
* Strong knowledge of project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project or equivalent platforms.
* Exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven ability to manage projects “from cradle to grave.”
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* [Recommended, not required] Professional membership with a relevant body such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
* QS (Quantity Surveyor) skills or experience will be an asset.
Day-to-Day Activities
* Coordinate daily tasks and timelines among contractors, suppliers, and teams.
* Conduct site visits to ensure progress aligns with plans and specifications.
* Perform budget reviews and work closely with financial teams to manage expenses.
* Engage with stakeholders to proactively manage expectations and mitigate operational risks.
* Monitor performance metrics and analyse outcomes to optimide processes for future projects.
* Solve immediate construction challenges and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
