Electrical Site Supervisor – Commercial
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
ARC is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee commercial projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
This role is well-suited to a qualified electrician with proven site supervision experience, who can lead teams, manage workloads, and ensure electrical installations and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate electrical works on commercial projects.
Lead a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality of work.
Oversee installations, testing, and maintenance to meet industry regulations and company standards.
Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure site health & safety compliance.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of works.
Provide technical support and guidance to electricians on site.
Monitor progress against project plans, reporting back on performance and any issues.
Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671).
Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
Previous experience supervising teams on commercial projects.
Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and resolve on-site challenges.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
