Mechanical Project Manager (Building Services) Location: Essex
£65,000 to £80,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Travel Expenses + Generous Bonus Scheme + Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist mechanical services contractor based in Essex, delivering projects from £50k up to £2m across commercial, industrial, and refurbishment sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of projects throughout London and surrounding areas, overseeing delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will:
* Oversee mechanical projects from design stage through to commissioning and handover
* Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver on time and within budget
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders
* Review technical designs, ensuring compliance and value engineering where possible
* Monitor commercial performance and variations, reporting to directors
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
About You
* Experienced Mechanical Project Manager within Building Services
* Strong background in HVAC, heating, ventilation, and general mechanical installations
* Proven track record delivering projects in the £50k to £2m range
* Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills
This role would suit those currently working as a Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, or HVAC Project Manager within the Building Services sector.
Remuneration Package – Mechanical Project Manager
Base Salary: £65,000 to £80,000
