Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

Involve Recruitment are currently working with an international contracting group delivering one of the region’s most prestigious healthcare infrastructure projects — a landmark new-build hospital. The project is already well underway, having commenced construction approximately one year ago, with a further two years remaining until completion.

As part of the ongoing expansion of the commercial team, we are seeking an experienced M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the project. This is a high-profile opportunity for a commercially astute and technically proficient professional to take on a key role in managing the day-to-day commercial and contractual aspects of the M&E package on a large-scale NEC contract.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Reporting directly to the Commercial Lead.

* Day-to-day commercial management of M&E packages.

* Contract administration in accordance with the NEC form of contract.

* Cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management.

* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management.

* Preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts.

* Managing and mitigating commercial risks.

* Liaising closely with the delivery team, client representatives, and subcontractors.

* Ensuring timely submission of contractual notices and accurate record-keeping.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on M&E works.

* Strong understanding of NEC contracts (ideally NEC Option C or similar).

* Background in large-scale infrastructure or healthcare projects highly desirable.

* Excellent commercial awareness and contract negotiation skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
