Estimator
We are on the lookout for an ambitious and driven Estimator who holds extensive knowledge of the residential construction industry.
Due to the continued success of our projects and the expansion of our commercial team, we’re looking for an ambitious Estimator to join and play a key role in shaping our next phase of growth.
The Estimator plays a vital role, focusing on two key areas: securing future projects and building strong relationships. This person not only provides precise cost estimates but also upholds the highest safety and quality standards during procurement. They take complete ownership of their tasks and foster transparent, loyal relationships with suppliers and clients.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator, extensive knowledge of the residential construction industry
* Proficient with Bluebeam
* Proficient with Excel
* Demonstrate Accuracy in quantity surveying
* Be self-motivated and highly organised
* Be able to work strict deadlines
* Be comfortable in relational verbal communications
Duties
* Bid Preparation: Lead the full tender process alongside the Head of Pre Construction from PQQ to Bid Submission and Handover to Delivery team
* Analyse project specifications, drawings and documentation to determine project scope
* Tender Document control
* Preparing a detailed and accurate take-off across all construction packages
* Conduct cost analysis and delivering comprehensive tender assessments
* Competent in identifying scope gaps between packages and qualifying the tender submission with any necessary risk items and qualifications.
* Attend client presentations and provide information to the client team in a professional manner.
