Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the housebuilding division of a well-respected housing association and developer. The organisation is dedicated to delivering high-quality new homes and thriving communities across the South West, with a strong focus on sustainable design, affordability, and long-term value. Their development arm has built a reputation for producing well-planned housing schemes that blend into local surroundings while meeting modern living needs.

The Role

You will join the commercial team to support the delivery of multiple residential housing schemes. The role will include:

Using COINS software to manage financial and commercial reporting.

Preparing and managing sub-contractor packages, payments, and variations.

*

Supporting cost control and value engineering across live projects.

*

Working closely with site teams to monitor progress and ensure commercial compliance.

*

Liaising with design and technical colleagues to resolve project issues efficiently.

*

Reporting directly into senior commercial management.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential housebuilding sector.

*

Proficient in COINS software (essential).

*

Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of JCT contracts.

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

*

Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
