Electrical Site Foreman

Contek Recruitment are working with a Solar Installation company who are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Site Foreman to lead and manage solar PV installation projects across residential and commercial sites.

TRAINING IN SOLAR IS PROVIDED

You’ll be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality installations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and installation teams

* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health & safety regulations

* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce PPE use

* Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors

* Monitor progress and quality of work, resolving issues as they arise

* Maintain accurate site records, including risk assessments and installation reports

* Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used

* Support and mentor junior staff and apprentices

Safety & Compliance:

* Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture

* Conduct and document daily site inspections

* Ensure compliance with Working at Height, Manual Handling, and Electrical Safety standards

* Manage site-specific RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)

* Report incidents and near-misses promptly and accurately

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a site foreman or supervisor in Electrical or solar PV

* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site management

* CSCS card (essential); SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans

* Full UK driving licence
