The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on an exciting £11m design & build residential project in Kings Cross / Farringdon. The scheme involves significant structural alterations and high quality finishes, making it an ideal opportunity for a QS who thrives on technically challenging work in the luxury residential sector.

Responsibilities

*

Full commercial management of the project from inception to final account

*

Procurement of subcontract packages and negotiation of contracts

*

Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

*

Managing valuations, variations, and change control

*

Working closely with the project delivery team to ensure budget, quality, and programme targets are met

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Project QS (ideally on refurbishment or structural alteration schemes)

*

Strong knowledge of D&B contracts and residential projects

*

Ability to work independently on site based projects

*

Excellent commercial and contractual awareness

*

Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with clients and subcontractors
