Job Title: Permanent Site Agent – Civil Engineering & Renewable Energy Projects

With projects that include large-scale Solar Farms, Onshore Wind Developments, and Battery Storage Facilities (BESS), combining civil engineering expertise with renewable energy innovation.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis, taking responsibility for the management and delivery of Civil Engineering infrastructure works on Renewable Energy projects. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.

* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

* Oversee planning, programming, and resourcing of works.

* Manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.

* Control project budgets, reporting progress and addressing risks proactively.

* Drive sustainability and innovation in line with renewable energy goals.

About You

* Proven experience in a Site Agent or Sub Agent role within civil engineering, ideally with exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or environmental projects.

* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and multi-disciplinary project delivery.

* Demonstrated ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders.

* Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

* A proactive leader with a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).

* Project experience in:

* Earthworks

* Groundworks

* Ducting

* Drainage

* Temporary works (e.g., cofferdams)

* Roads and access infrastructure

* Concrete foundations (not necessarily structures)

Salary & Benefits

* £60,000 – £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
