Site Manager – Temp to Perm

£220 – £350 per day

Our client, an MEP & Construction Services Provider are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of site-based activities for building, refurbishment, and maintenance projects. The role involves managing day-to-day delivery of works on client sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations on site, coordinating fabric and general building works (including carpentry, joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, roofing, and cladding).
Supervise subcontractors and in-house teams, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
Oversee health & safety on site – carrying out inductions, toolbox talks, RAMS, and ensuring all work complies with regulations.
Monitor progress against programme, resolving issues and reporting to senior management.
Ensure materials, plant, and resources are procured and available to maintain schedules.
Act as the key site contact for clients, maintaining professional relationships and clear communication.
Deliver projects to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate site documentation, records, and reports.
Support project handover and close-out, including snagging and final inspections.Site Manager

Requirements

Proven background as a Site Works Manager, Site Manager, or similar role within construction, refurbishment, or facilities projects.
Strong knowledge of fabric and building trades, ideally within FM, refurbishment, or MOD/regulatory environments.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, able to manage multiple site activities.
Sound understanding of H&S regulations, CDM requirements, and quality management.
SMSTS / SSSTS and First Aid at Work desirable.
