As the Bid Writer, you will play a key role in securing new business opportunities by producing high-quality, compelling bid submissions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create persuasive and compliant proposals aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, write, and coordinate high-quality bid and tender submissions
Review tender documentation, identify key requirements, and develop win themes
Work with internal teams (estimating, commercial, operations) to gather content and insights
Ensure all responses are compliant with client instructions and evaluation criteria
Maintain and update a library of bid content, case studies, and templates
Monitor deadlines and ensure all submissions are delivered on time
Support post-submission activities such as clarifications and interviews as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Bid Writer within the construction industry
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
Ability to turn technical content into clear, engaging, and structured responses
Experience managing multiple bids or tenders under tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and bid management tools
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
