The Role
We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive costings across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial schemes. While pitched roofing experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for flat roofing projects.

Analysing tender documentation and project specifications.

*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.

*

Assessing labour, material, and time requirements to produce reliable cost plans.

*

Working closely with the contracts team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating to project delivery.

*

Carrying out site visits, surveys, and assessments where required.

Requirements

*

Proven estimating experience within flat roofing.

*

Strong technical knowledge of the following systems: Hotmelt, bituminous felt, single ply, and liquid waterproofing.

*

Understanding of both traditional and specialist roofing systems.

*

Confident in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

*

Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
