We’re working in partnership with a respected and rapidly growing specialist in passive fire protection to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager. This is a career-defining opportunity for someone with a background in fire door surveys and fire risk assessments, ready to take ownership of end-to-end projects across the education and student accommodation sectors.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing

Lead & Deliver: Take full ownership of passive fire protection survey projects from planning through to completion.
Scope & Strategise: Programme works to exacting detail, ensuring timelines, procurement, and labour management align for seamless delivery.
Site Oversight: Brief site teams, manage staff (both permanent and temporary), and oversee daily operations to maintain high standards of compliance and efficiency.
Quality Control: Carry out audits, ensure strict adherence to RAMS and H&S regulations, and write comprehensive reports for internal and client review.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key contact between clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure expectations are not just met – but exceeded.You’ll Need To Bring:

Proven Project Management experience within the fire protection survey or assessments space.
Recognised qualifications such as BM Trada, FIRAS, FDIS, AISM, FRAS (or similar).
Hands-on knowledge – ideally someone who’s progressed from on-the-tools roles (e.g., door remedials or fire stopping) into supervisory/project roles.
Excellent organisational and communication skills – both written and verbal.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.Why Join?
