The Opportunity

We’re recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s fastest growing main contractors, who have already secured over £500m of work for 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a £25m new build industrial warehouse scheme in Bristol, supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor from pre-construction through to handover. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of the commercial process while developing your skills on a flagship project.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing a £25m new build industrial warehouse project

*

Support with cost management, procurement, and subcontractor packages

*

Help prepare and negotiate contracts, valuations, and variations

*

Assist in monthly CVRs, forecasting, and cash flow reporting

*

Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

*

Ensure accurate documentation and robust cost control

*

Work closely with the Senior QS, Project Manager, clients, and delivery teams

What We’re Looking For

*

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant QS on new build projects

*

Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts (desirable)

*

Exposure to industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial schemes is an advantage

*

Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills

*

Eager to learn and develop within a high-performing commercial team

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or working towards)
