* Salary – £33K – £36K

**Plant Mechanic Required** To join one of the UK’s leading pant hire firms out of their Croydon site. You will be required to working on a variety of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small hand tools.

You will play a pivotal role in the success of the depot by ensuring that our client’s customers can hire what they need, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the fleet.

Plant Mechanic – Responsibilities

* Diagnose faults, repair and maintain a variety of plant including compressors, mini- excavators, dumpers, diggers, small tools etc, both on and off site when required.

* Check and tag all equipment and update service records

* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories

* Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork

* Ensure customer Health & Safety rules are adhered too when on site.

* Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy and compliant with H&S.

Plant Mechanic – Requirements

* NVQ or similar in plant maintenance and repair

* 2 years minimum experience repairing and maintaining plant machinery

* Driving licence – Essential
