Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a respected and fast-growing name in the commercial fit out sector, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Kent. Specialising in high-quality Cat A and Cat B fit outs across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering premium interiors on time and within budget.

About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of commercial management duties across multiple fit out projects. Working closely with project managers and site teams, you will ensure financial efficiency, cost control, and profitability at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing all cost aspects of fit out projects (Cat A & B) from inception to completion

*

Preparing tenders, budgets, cost plans and valuations

*

Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers

*

Monthly reporting, cash flow forecasting, and final accounts

*

Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations

*

Supporting project delivery teams to achieve financial and commercial targets

About You:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial fit out sector

*

Strong knowledge of both Cat A and Cat B projects

*

Excellent commercial awareness and contract knowledge

*

Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously

*

Confident communicator and skilled negotiator

*

Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction-related discipline
