The role: As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of the reactive maintenance contract. Day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with valuations, cost reporting and subcontractor management; supporting the preparation of tenders and contract documentation; monitoring budgets and costs to ensure projects remain commercially viable; and building relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

About you: Ideally some experience in a surveying or commercial role within construction (social housing or maintenance a plus); strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; excellent communication and organisational skills; and eagerness to learn, develop and progress your career in quantity surveying.
