Senior EHS Advisor – Data Centre- Frankfurt
We’re working with a well-established engineering contractor who delivers a wide range of civil, rail, data centre, and infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. Right now, they’re looking to bring a Senior EHS Advisor on board for a data centre project based in mainland Europe.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things health and safety on site, reporting directly to the Head of Health & Safety. They're after someone with solid experience in a similar role and a strong track record of managing safety from start to finish on busy, fast-paced projects.
This contractor has a lot going on —They’ve recently strengthened their position with a significant project pipeline in Germany, working on some of the largest data centre developments in the region. They have made big moves in the European data centre space with major industry players, and continue to keep things rolling across the UK with a steady stream of work.
Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities:
• Contribute to ensuring a safe and compliant site for all personnel and guests.
• Maintain continuous compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Monitor changes in UK regulations and industry standards, ensuring site staff are kept informed.
• Work closely with our teams and suppliers to keep safety performance strong and always improving.
• Attend pre-commencement meetings to determine which RAMS documents need to be reviewed.
• Assess RAMS as required to support safe and effective site operations.
• Support and guide site management teams during site setup and the preparation of health and safety documentation, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and presentations.
• Carry out scheduled site inspections and document findings in audit reports.
• Join project meetings to discuss particular concerns arising from site activities.
• Manage and oversee accident investigation processes.
Health & Safety Advisor Requirements:
• Must hold a NEBOSH qualification.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the Irish or UK construction sectors.
• Comfortable with today’s technical building guidelines.
• Experienced in building and maintaining strong professional connections with a broad range of people.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated and skilled at resolving complex issues.
