About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee a critical construction package within a live, operational warehouse environment. This is a 24-week contract role, requiring strong leadership, client liaison skills, and a solid background in managing high-risk works within active industrial facilities.

The project involves the construction of fire-rated partition walls, electrical installations, and the erection of steel structures, all within a fully functional logistics operation. The successful candidate will take full site responsibility, coordinating subcontractors, managing health & safety, and ensuring seamless communication with the client and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of site activities and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within a live warehouse environment

*

Oversee the installation of fire-rated walls, steel structures, and electrical works

*

Maintain progress in line with the project programme and quality standards

*

Act as the primary client interface on site, providing regular updates and managing expectations

*

Coordinate closely with warehouse operations to minimise disruption to ongoing activities

*

Lead site meetings and manage daily reporting, toolbox talks, and RAMS

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager in a live operational environment (ideally warehousing, logistics, or industrial)

*

Strong understanding of fire-rated construction, structural steel installation, and electrical coordination

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid at Work – essential

*

Excellent client-facing and communication skills

*

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple trades on-site

*

Competence in interpreting drawings and construction programmes

Desirable:

*

Previous experience in high-risk or restricted access working environments

*

Knowledge of warehouse fire safety systems and industrial M&E integration
