Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join our established pre-construction and business development team. You will play a key role in leading and producing high-quality, compelling bid submissions across a range of sectors, including construction, housing, and public sector contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality written content for PQQs, ITTs, and framework submissions

*

Translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive narrative tailored to client requirements

*

Work closely with bid managers, technical teams, and subject matter experts to gather content and develop win themes

*

Review and improve existing content, maintaining a library of pre-written responses and case studies

*

Ensure all submissions are compliant, well-structured, and meet evaluation criteria

*

Support post-submission clarifications and presentations as required

*

Contribute to continuous improvement of the bid process and writing standards

Key Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a bid writing role within the construction or built environment sector

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

*

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure

*

Strong understanding of public procurement processes and frameworks (e.g. NEC, JCT, etc.)

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office and document formatting/presentation

*

Degree or relevant professional qualification in English, Journalism, Marketing, or similar (desirable)
